Tashisona, a famous Nepalese thangka master, is known as Nepal's first face opening master due to his unique three-dimensional face opening technique. He was born in 1972 and began learning to practice drawing thangka at the age of 12. He has been painting for over 30 years now! With devout cultivation and exquisite painting skills, he won the first prize in the Four Countries Exchange Competition (India, Thailand, Bhutan, Nepal, and China) and was personally received and awarded by the former Prime Minister of Nepal.
